Bedtime

Thursday. More difficulty than usual getting to sleep last night as I recall the clock passing eleven, but still awakened early just before five to immediately zone out and then awaken for good at six in time to listen to Democracy Now! while cooking up an excuse to drive rather than walk to breakfast, setting out in the car around seven-thirty to arrive, park by the 7-11 store again and enter the indoor dining area to settle in at the usual table with the papers.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee because I haven't had them in a while, finishing up at nine to set out for the car and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer.

Later. Made an appointment to get the lab work done on Monday afternoon and then checked with the doctor's office to be sure they'd renewed the order, so that's been taken care of. No way to flake after an appointment is made.

A sunny day of watching/listening to the various news programs and continuing with various episodes of this and that on the tablet.

Evening. Watched Vera from eight to nine-thirty. Another episode where I remembered the beginning, some of the scenes in the middle, but not the end. I'm still not sure exactly who did the evil deed as it seemed (at least to me for the accents and my hearing) muddled at the end. Nine-thirty: bedtime.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
