Tired

Friday. To sleep soon enough, awakening briefly at five, but then for good at six-twenty so I was assuming I'd gotten enough sleep. OK up to walk to breakfast under clear enough skies, arriving to settle inside the dining area and start on the papers. Bad choice, it turned out, as six other people arrived before I'd finished, but such is life.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast for no particular reason, finishing up not long after nine to set out for home after a quick and very necessary trip to their bathroom. We will undoubtedly be much lighter on the scale tomorrow morning. Tired while walking, tired when taking the selfie in the lobby, tired when processing the pictures and so lied down for a while before starting with this.

Later. Tired and so too much time on the tablet and (sort of) listening to the television news while sitting nearby in front of the computer messing around on Facebook and the like. Sunny all afternoon, but it only reached sixty degrees today.

Evening. Nothing on television, at least on the stations I'm able to receive through rabbit ears, and so to bed and the tablet before nine. I'd found one or two new movies that seem to be of interest. Lights out before ten feeling tired.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
