Nine
Tuesday. Lights out before nine and then a pretty good night's sleep, awakening after six to get up and be surprised by the blood pressure - 98/64 - before getting ready to head out for breakfast on a fairly dark and overcast morning.
The restaurant open just before seven when I arrived, ordered, when the kitchen opened, the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee breakfast. The papers kept me reading until almost nine before heading back home, taking a picture of the A's mascot by the entrance to the Grand Lake theater, the usual flower down below the Lakeview school (had to search a bit to find one) and then of the sidewalk repair that just started yesterday at the base of my hill.
Have no thoughts about the blood pressure, it came in at 121/78 when I got home. It's now been three full days since I've stopped taking the blood pressure med and none of the blood pressure measurements indicate I should start taking it again. A note to the cardiologist and the family doctor, I think, if only to fill them in. Just in case.
Nothing on the schedule today and so we'll probably just sit around and vegetate, unless this now having the blood pressure good again tweaks us to get out. And about.
We've sunk into blather here.
Not to worry. The air often runs out of the balloon by about now.
Later. A slow afternoon, somewhat over an hour of which was taken up by a nap, the sinus-upper palate thing deciding to act up. A couple of blood pressure readings, 110/74 at eleven-ten, 110/72 at eleven forty-five, both good, another not long after getting up 130/74 at four twenty-five. And that's pretty much been the afternoon except the earlier period of feeling cruddy seems to have lifted. Better to have your crud get better.
Evening. Finished watching a really dumb Netflix series on the tablet. Weird enough to hold my interest and not quite stupid enough to make me quit. The blood pressure 119/78 at six-twenty, so good there. It gets up to 130 and I get nervous. Still need to let it play out, see where it ends up when the week is out.
Pretty much overcast throughout the day, they're saying it will continue through tomorrow. Time for bed as it approaches nine.
