Tired
Saturday To sleep not long after eleven to awaken at six forty-five and get up and set out walking to breakfast on another overcast and relatively cool morning, not sure how much smoke was in the air. Arrived at the usual time to sit at my table out on the restaurant patio (as usual, the first to arrive) and settled in with the papers, just warm enough while sitting not to be uncomfortable. I'd thought about wearing a heavier coat when I'd set out.
The two strip of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight one and a half pounds over the target on the scale this morning. We're making progress. Finished up at nine-fifteen again and set out walking home, the sky still overcast with a slight breeze that blew the flowers I was photographing just enough to make it difficult to get them in focus. What the hell, shoot until you get them right. Close to right.
The farmers market was now pretty much in place and vendors were setting up along the lake in preparation for whatever crowds to come. Home to take the selfie and settle in to finish yesterday's entry, again finding enough errors in the draft to be depressing. My no longer unusual routine.
Later. Moderate air quality through the afternoon, a high in the mid-sixties and so, of course, stayed inside and finished up the first season of Black Sun, another weird series on the tablet. Started season two.
No golf tournaments being broadcast for some reason, so the tablet's pretty much been the afternoon.
Evening. The public television stations are still raising money and so nothing I wanted to watch there. The two commercial stations I'm able to receive are hopeless as well. Just saying, not complaining. If I wanted access to more stations I'd subscribe to one of the cable packages. To bed early, lights out early. Tired.
