Done

Monday. OK, to sleep early to awaken then at six-fifteen, right when we were after. Checked the bedroom window: wet, but not raining. Out the door to walk to breakfast, dark, the eyes watering, but a decent trip to arrive finding the restaurant open, the coffee ready.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, this time, throwing caution to the winds. The weight is fine, still at one-fifty, so what the hell, that's what I ordered. And ate.

Finished by nine, the sidewalks now close to dry with scooters scattered pretty much everywhere on the walk home, so people certainly seem to continue using them.

Booted the computer when I arrived to find the external hard drive that contains the recent year or two's photographs wasn't showing up on the screen, allowing me to post yesterday's entry (late). Why?

Five more hours and I'd cleaned up the computer area, rearranged the various computer drives and such and managed to get the external hard drive working. Maybe something to do with the Ethernet connection, replacing the cable, really not sure, but replacing the cable seemed to work and all is well. For now.

Now, if I were more ambitious I'd finish the area rearrangement and cleanup tomorrow and, I must admit, it would do me good, at least psychologically. Couldn't hurt doing better psychologically.

Evening. Nothing on television or, for that matter, the tablet and so lights out after nine. A good day, I'd say, none of the ocular nonsense, the computer area (where I undoubtedly spend too much of my time) in better order and the day is done.

The photograph was taken at the Portland Wild Arts Festival with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24 - 120mm f 4.0 Nikkor VR lens.
