Tuesday. Awoke just before six in time to listen to the KPFA five minute news before Democracy Now! started at six, taking my time getting up and getting ready to walk to breakfast on a cold foggy morning, the eyes watering and the nose running, arriving just after the restaurant had opened.
The waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, this time again with butter and syrup, along with the fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing at close to nine, the morning still fogged in, but lending itself to taking a larger than usual number of pictures on the way home, to include another tired eyed selfie.
I'm thinking fewer would have been better.
Perhaps I was taken by the low lying fog. Haven't had that in a while.
Later. More work futzing around with the computer components. Lots of dust hidden away under/around/between them. Feel better for getting it done, but I'm still far from finished.
The notice of another Lightroom upgrade arrived and so I downloaded and installed it to see if it would still freeze when importing pictures. It did, but, in testing, I thought I'd managed to figure out a way to get it to work, something I've been frustrated in trying to do now for much too long. Since the sun had burned through in the late morning, I set out to take a picture at the construction site up the way to get a photograph to test the Lightroom import and managed to get it to work. Life is good when your Lightroom works.
Evening. Listened to a PBS program on Mozart with the head now having been clear throughout the day (no sign of any “tiredness” shit) and so to bed at eight with lights out not long after nine. Success, I'd say, certainly no reason to complain.
