Nine

Saturday. Lights out before nine-thirty to awaken finally for good at six, a reasonable night's rest if I'm right. Up to take the blood pressure (126/74) and set out for breakfast at the usual time, arriving by seven to find the restaurant dark, but for a light in the kitchen, and so through the dining area door to turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Clear skies and cold out there, I'm wearing gloves next time.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast. Two pounds under the target weight on the scale, this morning, but I'd have had the breakfast if they'd been two pounds over as that was what appealed.

Who cares?

I cares.

Finished up before nine to set out for home, the bicycle I'd passed yesterday morning still sitting on the sidewalk, whatever flower this might be still bright in its planter, a bicycle rider caught setting out under the 580 Overpass at the light. We are feeling predictable this morning. Another of a line of scooters by the lake and a selfie in the apartment house lobby, not as cold after this walk home as I'd been after walking to the restaurant, but cold enough. Bright sun, clear skies and cold.

Posted yesterday's entry without making changes, well, not very many changes, tired right now and so we'll stop.

Later. So much for the rest of the day and into the evening. Watched television and stuff on the tablet (draining the battery from one hundred percent to a number in the forties) throughout the evening, getting to bed after eight and lights out just after nine.

The photograph up top was one poster of a number on a building wall along Broadway taken on the way to the lab yesterday with a Nikon 1 V3 mounted with an 10 - 30mm f 3.5-5.6 Nikon 1 Nikkor VR lens.
