Tomorrow

Tuesday Pretty much right to sleep last night to awaken at six-twenty logging, I'm guessing, a pretty good night's rest. Up to walk to breakfast under fog shrouded skies, arriving in good order around the usual time to settle in with the papers, the temperature reasonable probably due to the fog.

The Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee, forgetting it included two slices of cured ham that at least in the past would bring on the ocular migraine stuff. Might regret this later. Finished up around nine to walk back home still under overcast skies, the light at least good for taking somewhat better balanced pictures. You win some, lose a few with the weather.

Haven't seen a single rental scooter placed out on the sidewalks now in well over a month. They were down to Lime scooters pretty much only for a while there and now they're down to none. Scooter rentals are no longer productive when placed in my area of the lake is my guess.

Home to take a rather grim looking selfie and then take the elevator to the apartment, my cell phone ringing just as I entered. The Protime blood thinner guy saying he'd arrive in three minutes, was I ready? Not quite, but stripped off the coat, the goose down vest and the sweater before returning to the lobby and find him there ready to draw blood.

No finger sticking this time, but he drew a vial through a needle in the arm. Asked him why the change, seemed more cumbersome and complicated than the finger stick, but he said he wasn't sure. Still, went easily enough and so back to the apartment to start getting on with this. Now to think about how to handle getting the car fixed.

Later. I am really tired to watching movies and series on the tablet, even when I find one that catches my interest, this hitting home a little harder this day and evening. Dialed into YouTube and played some of the old songs, both opera and rock, that captured me when I was in my teens, twenties and early thirties. Thought of other things to do around here, maybe put together my 100 Favorite Songs list for the web and finish the full 100 Favorite Books list. Wouldn't keep me busy for all that long, but it would be something different.

There is this neglected apartment.

Update some of the framed pictures might make a start.

Evening. Nothing on television and so crapped out early and went to bed, nothing on the radio and so it was lights out, we'll resume the bitching tomorrow.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
