Early

Monday To sleep after ten to awaken at five-fifty and get it together to walk to breakfast, passing three scooters set out on the sidewalk for the first time in now months, a brand I'm not familiar with and so a picture. Arrived at around the usual time to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers. Clear and cold this morning and so I'd worn two sweaters under the winter coat. Best I had.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight just six-tenths of a pound over one-fifty this morning, as low as it's been in a while. Finished up after nine to set out for home, the sun up, the air warmer, but feeling a little tired. Not good to feel tired. Still, an easy enough walk home, a picture of the empty sidewalk as I approached the lake, a work crew on the sidewalk by the lake and then on home to take the selfie.

Later. A nap, but first a call to the cardiologist's office to renew my prescription for the blood pressure med. I realized the pills I'd been taking were now old enough to be beyond their expiration date and it was possible that it was part of the problem. Still, took twice the normal dose this morning after taking the usual dose last night and this has kept the readings in line, but best to not take chances. And so they're sending a new prescription.

Evening. To bed before eight this time to continue watching episodes of a series on the tablet, but giving up early before nine, turn out the lights confident I could indeed get to sleep this early.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
