Sure
Wednesday Lights out at the usual time, but a very uneven night's rest in the sense the dream I was having was intense and seemed to go on hour after hour as I glanced at the clock. Except had I really been glancing at the clock?
Nothing too unusual about the dream, not frightening or anything, but I was in a different world all through the night to awaken then at a quarter after six to dial into Democracy Now! and go through the usual getting up and getting ready to go to breakfast routine, not feeling at all tired to the point of making me think I'd actually gotten a good night's rest. We'll leave it at that. The blood pressure was 114/66. Right on the mark.
Drove to breakfast. Not sure why, maybe because I wanted to see if the catalytic converter was still in place, maybe just because. Parked right by the restaurant and entered the dining room to turn on the lights and settle in at the back to start on the papers. Ordered the two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up at ten minutes after nine (with four minutes to go on the parking meter slip) to take the usual three pictures and then drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and head on upstairs to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the pictures and start on this. Sunny outside. We won't speculate on whether or not we'll get in a walk. We never actually act on it.
And if you have gone out neither one of us can remember when.
The best reason around to keep my mouth shut.
Later. A passing thought to walk up the way to the 7-11 look-alike to buy ice cream, but just a thought. Not tired, but lied down for a while to listen to the radio and that's been about it.
Evening. Another to bed early evening after checking out the Midsomer Murders episode at eight, one I'd seen before but, of course, didn't remember who'd done the deed. Again, not particularly tired this day, but we'll see what that means for getting to sleep tonight. Never quite sure.
