Wednesday To sleep soon enough, but awoke in the middle of the night feeling a chill. Well, OK, cold, the blanket not held close enough, so a chill. A fever? Thought about this for a while, how close COVID, how close not, back to sleep to awaken then at six-twenty feeling reasonably good. Took the temperature to find it normal. Mostly you don't think about the virus, you pay attention to the masking and such, but a half awake dream brought it home in the middle of the night.
Thought about driving to breakfast. Was the battery still good or did it need a charge? What the hell, drove to arrive at the usual time, enter the dining room, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. Ordered the avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up at nine-ten to walk to the car, take a picture of the succulent sitting on the patio's fence and drive on home, take the selfie and settle in here at the computer.
Started the laundry once yesterday's entry had been posted, we'll do the laundry and start the car battery charging, neither one of which requires a lot of energy, but does require more determination than I can usually muster to actually follow through. Whatever the cause of all this constant hesitation, it's not a good sign.
Later. Did the laundry and hooked up the car battery to the charging unit, the charge indicator showing it was for the best that I'd decided to get it done. Otherwise spent most of the afternoon watching episodes of City On A Hill, a little different Prime series originally produced by Showtime. Maybe I should rethink my avoidance of cable.
Evening. Checked out Midsomer Murders at eight. I'd seen it before, actually thought I remembered who'd eventually been found to have done the evil deeds, but didn't remember why or the steps involved in solving it and so quit, went to bed and watched more of that Prime series on the tablet.
