Night

Sunday. To sleep after ten, right on target, to awaken at five-fifty and get up to take the blood pressure (116/73, 121/75, 117/76) coming in pretty much exactly how you'd like it to come in twenty-four seven. Took the med, listened to TUC Radio, got up just after seven to drive to breakfast under a grey foggy cloud, the air index in the Hazardous to Some category as it's been now for these last several days. Parked in front of the restaurant, entered the indoor dining area, turned on the lights and settled in at my table with the papers.

The two strips of bacon (they brought three), scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up around nine-fifteen to walk the short distance to the car and drive home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure (124/72, 125/75m 118/65) before settling down at the computer to mess with yesterday's entry before posting, download and process the morning's few pictures and start here, the sun starting to break through the overhead fog outside the balcony glass door.

Later. Watched some football, the 49'ers playing the Sea Hawks starting at one-thirty, taking a break after the half to walk over to the lake and snap a few pictures taking all of maybe fifteen minutes. Not enough to call exercise, but clearing the head of a kind of wobbliness that been hanging on since I awoke this morning.

A double dose of the blood pressure med at noon, another dose at three which seems to be keeping the pressure in check, but we'll know by six if it works. I'm thinking a dose when I get home from breakfast, a double dose at noon, another dose between two and three, but we'll know soon enough if it works in the real world.

Seattle takes San Francisco by seven. Weird game, the 49'ers all over the place with errors through to the end.

Evening. The blood pressure still higher than I'd like at six. Watched a Netflix movie on the tablet, watched a couple of episodes of a Britbox series on the computer and then to bed, lights out by nine-thirty to then take forever to get to sleep. Eyes wide open for half the night.

The photo up top was taken in May 2015 at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
