Sign

Monday. I felt as if I was wide awake for half of last night. Haven't had that happen in a while. Fortunately. Awoke for good at five forty-five to take the blood pressure and finding it to be higher by over ten points than it's ever been first thing in the morning, listened to Democracy Now! and then set out for breakfast feeling pretty good, stepping out with energy under Unhealthy For Some fog shrouded skies. Arrived to enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.

The avocado, mushroom and cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up after nine to set out for home, still feeling pretty good and so happily taking the usual pictures along the way.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure to find it somewhat better and so settled down at the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the morning's pictures and start with this. The blood pressure still high and so two doses of the blood pressure med just before noon.

Later. Not as tired as I suspected I might be after last night. No complaints. Still overcast, the temperature in the low fifties. Spent quite a bit of time on the tablet finishing Reyka a weird, but kept me watching Britbox series that I'd started some days back. Ended up taking a total of five doses of the blood pressure med for the day with the blood pressure running higher than it's ever been. A wobbly day throughout.

Evening. To bed again just after eight, lights out well after nine. I did manage to clear out and trash a number of old books and magazines, something that needs a whole lot more to take care of in these coming weeks. Maybe a good sign.

The photo up top was taken in May 2015 at the San Francisco Carnaval Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
