Saturday. Awakened at five-thirty, a little early, but I had gotten to sleep not all that long after ten and so up to take the blood pressure, find it a little high and so took the blood pressure med to start another day's blood pressure roller coast ride. Well, it wasn't that bad, no need to exaggerate. Up to dress warmly again to set out walking to breakfast as the sky was clear and the temperature was low enough to wonder what it was going to be like in the restaurant with the door to the patio open and their fan blowing air inside. Arrived to enter the indoor dining area and settle in at my table with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just before nine to set out for home under a bright sun, the air still cold, but seemingly not as bad as it had been earlier this morning. A Saturday and so the farmers market was setting up across from the Grand Lake theater. An easy enough walk, good energy, the walk home always seeming faster than the walk to the restaurant.
Took the selfie in the lobby, appreciating, as I entered the apartment, that I needed to hit the bathroom without needing to rush, took the blood pressure (a little better) and settled in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here. Another morning, another run through the same routine.
Later. They're saying sunny today and rain starting tonight through Tuesday and so I naturally stayed inside and watched the end of the second season of Without Motive on the tablet and started another Indian series that got me through the afternoon, putting off any of the steps I need to take here to prepare for moving early next year. Well, some thinking about it, how to prepare, what the take, what to leave behind.
Evening. Nothing on television again and so to bed by eight, adding a heavy blanket to the bedding. Should have done that some time ago with the temperatures now down into the forties at night. The blood pressure seems to have risen since this afternoon and so a fifth dose of the blood pressure med. Warm, at least, under the now heavier covers.
