Sunday. To sleep soon enough to awaken with the alarm, a good long night's sleep. Up to take the blood pressure to find it OK. Mostly. Took the blood pressure med, listened to a depressing TUC radio discussion on the current realities of climate change before getting up and driving through a very light rain to the restaurant, parking and entering the indoor dining area to turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight just fine on the scale this morning, finishing up after nine to walk to the car, drive straight home, take the selfie in the lobby and get to the bathroom just in time. Close, just in time. Took the blood pressure to find it in very good shape, settled in at the computer, finished yesterday's entry before posting, processed the morning's few pictures and started here at ten-thirty.
Later. Watched the beginning of the Raiders game on television, figured I'd seen more than enough in the first quarter and so watched a series on the tablet until one-thirty when I dialed into the start of the 49'ers game on television and pretty much stuck with that for the first half before retiring again to the bedroom and following it on and off on the radio as I watched another subtitled series on the tablet. Exciting ending, should have stayed with it on television. Raining, of course. Not hard, but definitely rain, more than enough to not have to rationalize not going outside.
Evening. Again in bed with the tablet until after eight, lights out by nine, nothing on the radio on Sunday nights I wanted to follow and so we'll see when we're able to get to sleep earlier than usual. The blood pressure has been OK through most of the day, but just, and it's taken five doses of the blood pressure med to keep it in line.
