Anymore

Monday. Lights out by ten to awaken at a quarter to six. Not bad, up to head out to breakfast on another clear and cold morning, the eyes watering, the nose running, to arrive to find the restaurant open and ready for business.

The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast and coffee for breakfast, finishing up at a quarter to nine. The papers are thin on Mondays, but there was more than enough to keep me reading. On home, still quite cold while walking, taking the usual selfie in the lobby before sitting down at the computer and look over yesterday's entry. It needed a lot of work. It still needs more work, but we'll stop the carping for now. Ah, well.

A nice sunny, but still cold, day. We'll stick our nose outside the door after we run another of these glucose tests: 111. Good, well within range. Not sure why I felt the need to conduct these tests as, other than tiredness, I don't show any of the other symptoms they've listed.

Evening. Maybe best we just cut this short after yesterday's screed. A good day, decent energy, no thought to go outside, but otherwise listened to the news, read the news and spent some time with the tablet. Skipped out of watching the DCI Banks episode on PBS at eight after less than five minutes as I find emotionally over the top detectives depressing. A problem as emotionally over the top break all the rules detectives are a staple in most of the various detective series you find on television anymore.
