Limit

Wednesday. Lights out as usual after the BBC News summary at nine-thirty to awaken at five-thirty. Five-thirty is too early by a good twenty-five minutes (if I'm to listen to the five minute KPFA news before six). Ah, well. Up to walk to breakfast on what seems to have been a colder than recent mornings to arrive before seven and find the restaurant open with people inside and so settled in with the papers.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again for no particular reason, finishing up before eight-thirty and setting out for home. Another three pictures of flowers in their planters for no particular reason other than maybe I'll get their exposures right one of these times, another bicyclist at the 580 Overpass light and a selfie in the apartment house lobby, ready to mess with yesterday's entry before posting. The usual thoughts of what in the hell am I up to with all this babble, but that seems to be the routine. I suspect I'll end before it ends.

Stuff to do. We'll soon see if I get any of it done.

Later. Didn't miss a beat. Cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen (floor) and put away the computer junk. Putting away the computer junk doesn't really count, but it's out of sight and that's a plus. On then to the desk and the paperwork.

Evening. Watched the debate. Testy. Not sure how that goes over with the people who make it a point to watch it, although I suspect they're more political freaks than not. Bailed for bed after an hour and a half, this political freak having reached his limit.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco 2016 Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
