Wasn't

Tuesday. Got to sleep at a reasonable hour, awoke briefly a couple of times before getting up with the alarm at six-fifteen. So I'm guessing enough sleep. These days we guess a lot. Off to breakfast on another fairly cold morning, arriving by seven to find the restaurant open and so settled in with the papers to see who was writing what about this upcoming South Carolina primary and debate. Well, read as much as I felt up to handling.

The one pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, the weight still holding on target on the scale this morning, finishing up fifteen minutes before nine to walk home and take the usual pictures of (what else?) the same flowers and a bicycle rider at the Grand Lake theater light.

On below the Lakeview school to find another flower blooming where there's been none now for some time and of two riders, one with a young girl in tow, waiting at the 580 Overpass light, another as the light changed as I was approaching. Bright sun, the mood good, on to take the selfie and settle in with yesterday's truncated entry, do some editing and post. The usual stuff.

Another debate starting late this afternoon and so I need to get the DMV practice tests done and go over what I need for the Real ID out of the way before it starts. Need to go by the DMV tomorrow (or Thursday). He said.

Later. A walk up to the Seven-Eleven look-alike to pick up a pint of strawberry ice cream to take home and eat for lunch. Not sure why, but it got me out the door for a bit. Not sure I had a choice, the body just up and went.

Ran through more of the DMV practice tests.

Evening. Listened to the debate both on television and then later on the radio while lying on the bed. Not a single question on climate change, most of it a verbal slings and arrows match that didn't much change anyone's position was my thought. But I toughed it out and watched.

Up then to at least scribble this and see if there was anything on television I might like. There wasn't.

The photo up top was taken at the February 2016 downtown Oakland March for Bernie 2 with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
