Sleep

Saturday To sleep soon enough to awaken at close to six. Good. A fair amount of sleep. Up at the usual time to walk to breakfast under clear skies and a bright sun, not many people on the sidewalk as I was walking, although the usual number across Grand setting up the farmers market as I passed by. Arrived to enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee thinking I should have ordered the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries instead as that felt more appealing. Still, the weight is behaving, no regrets. Finished up before nine to set out walking home and taking whatever flower pictures appealed. Spring is coming so I suspect we won't run out of subjects.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before checking the car, the battery fully charged and then some. Good. Up to the apartment to settle in at the computer and start here.

Later. Tired for whatever reason. This after what I described as a long (and thinking good) night's sleep. This resulted in another afternoon watching crap on the tablet and an hour's nap. Still tired although I'm at least not putting off scribbling this until tomorrow morning, but still.

You're going to have to start walking, getting in some exercise. That's what everybody, who theoretically know about such things, is saying.

OK.

Evening. Nothing on television and the two or three things I've been watching on the tablet aren't calling out to me to continue with any one of them and so to bed, put the tablet away and turn the lights out at nine. A little tired, but we'll find out soon enough if I'm tired enough to go right to sleep.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
