Business
Sunday To sleep soon enough, but an uneven night's sleep I'd have to say, awakening just after six. Uneven, but enough. Anyway, listened to the last half of CounterSpin and then all of TUC Radio to get up at the usual time and drive to breakfast, arriving to find the parking slot closest to the restaurant was available and so parked, entered the dining area, turned on the lights and settle in with the papers. Not a bad start, uneven sleep or not.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee because that's what appealed, the weight good on the scale this morning, finishing up after nine to walk to the car, snap the pictures and drive straight home, taking the selfie in the lobby mirror and settling in at the computer.
An email from Stanford Health Care with a form to fill out for Wednesday's coronavirus vaccination. Did it. Wednesday is coming closer. Boy will be be nice to get those shots done and get most of that particular ocean of strain behind me.
Later. Nothing but basketball on television and so to the tablet and not much else, the sun bright, the temperature into the mid-sixties. A bit tired. Well, more than a bit, maybe, and so I'm writing this the next morning when the head is reliably clearer, but with little of import.
Evening. All the PBS stations are raising money and running specials of no interest to me. Checked out The Equalizer at eight for all of about eight minutes and bailed, as I have in the past, and so to bed well before nine, one day closer to getting the first virus shot. Odd, it's starting to feel like a race between the virus and the shot, who gets there first? That's always been the question, it's just that now that it's getting close I'm much more aware of it. Weird, this virus business.
