Why
Saturday. To sleep soon enough, although lights out had come a little late, to awaken again before five to doze on and off until six to get up and take the blood pressure (looked good) and get back in bed to listen to the news until seven. Up to walk to breakfast under clear skies, arriving to enter their indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up to walk home taking the same mindless series of pictures, but with a happy enough heart, the sun bright with a day of packing boxes ahead.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby, head for the bathroom as the body suddenly instructed as I entered the apartment front door, take the blood pressure to find it even better than it was first thing this morning and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here by eleven. Now to see how much of this packing business I'm able to get done.
Later. Made progress, but probably not enough. Still, I did start on all the computer gear and will finish it tomorrow, going offline on Monday until it gets reassembled in Oregon. If it survives the trip. Please.
Evening. Watched the first hour of The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch at eight, decided it was time for bed by nine and so ended up turning out the lights at ten. Another staying up later than a sensible man should. Not sure why.
