Think
Monday. To sleep pretty much right away, but the one or two times I awoke resulted in going back to sleep pretty much right away to then awaken for good with the alarm at six-thirty. A good long night's rest in other words. Up to take the blood pressure to find it good and listen to the news, discovering it was Presidents Day, a bit of a surprise.
Off to drive to the Lakeshore ATM under clear skies, they're saying a high in the mid-fifties today, the air free of pollutants. Up over the hill on Mandana to park by the 7-11 store, cross Grand and enter the restaurant's indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with an old set of the morning papers. Frustrating to arrive early and not have anything to read.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by eight-thirty to head back to the car, drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure to find it behaving (mostly), settle in at the computer, finish yesterday's entry, post it, process the morning's pictures and start here before ten.
I'm assuming this will be the last journal entry until I get set up in Oregon, maybe by the coming weekend, as I've got all this to pack today and tomorrow. Still, the energy seems good, maybe we'll have another day like yesterday and actually get some of all these things done.
Over A Month Later. OK, finally got the main computer (this one) connected and running and so maybe we'll do more of these as the unpacking progresses and I can figure out how all these components and cables work together.
What does that mean exactly?
Fuzzy headed and so settling in is going slowly, but we're making progress. Sort of. I think.
