Monday. Another lights out not long after nine to slip into an uneven, but seemingly restful night's sleep, awakening then at just after six. Which is good. Be nice to keep that up.
Dark and overcast, they're saying the day will be colder than our high of sixty-six day yesterday and it feels like it. The usual watering eyes and runny nose, the worst of which, of course, is the walking in this early morning cold, but also to a lesser but annoying extent during breakfast, the changes in temperature while eating and drinking keeping it going. This has become the unfortunate norm.
Had the oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee because that was what appealed, the day still overcast on the walk home, passing by the guy with the “water wings” backpack again, taking a picture this time as he was approaching. Which I suspect is the excitement for the morning.
Are you complaining?
Nah. As ever, just babbling.
Later. Another afternoon spent listening to news and watching things on the tablet. Perhaps I wasn't kidding about that excitement for the morning, it seems to have lasted and made due throughout the afternoon. What the hell? Better than a heart attack. Some forms of excitement are way better to handle than others.
Now to see if the evening holds more than just bitching about whatever's coming up on tonight's episode of Father Brown.
Evening. More time with the tablet worrying I might actually end up watching the entire Father Brown episode at seven, but skipped out after five minutes to return to the bedroom and the tablet. One or two things lately I've been able to get into on Netflix and Prime.
