Years

Sunday. I was tired yesterday, more so than I can remember in some time and so to bed early around eight, turning the lights out and the radio off to sleep straight through until a quarter to six, close to nine hours rest. OK, good, get up to take the blood pressure (131/64) and take the med before driving to breakfast and arriving just before seven, the restaurant dark, but for a light back in kitchen. Through the dining area door, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers. So far, so good, the head seemingly clear. After nine hours sleep, why not?

The beef patty, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, the weight close to four pounds under the one-fifty target again, finishing up after nine to then drive by the supermarket and pick up some needed (and some less needed) items, one being two packages of Dial hand soap. Don't want to run out of hand soap. Looked for the small bottles of sake I like, but couldn't find them in the liquor section and thinking probably for the best.

Straight home, the sun out, the selfie in the lobby and now the day ahead. Nothing much to do with yesterday's entry before posting and now the day ahead.

Later. Not tired and so out the door to check out the lake with a camera after watching the Viking-Saints game, leaving before the game ended, taking snapshots along the shore to include pictures of two Lime scooters on the bottom, one with the LED on its rear fender still brightly lit. Can't be altogether happy task, keeping these scooters in one piece.

OK, a short walk to the lake to sit on a bench for maybe five minutes, talking myself finally into walking on to the Lakeshore ATM, something I needed to do, but not until Tuesday, truth be known. Still, didn't walk this morning, didn't walk yesterday morning, which gave me a reason to get off my butt and so on to the ATM and then right back, finally feeling tired.

Watched the first half or so of the Seahawks-Eagles game before giving up to lie down and continue a couple of series on the tablet, giving up after about an hour. Seems the Seahawks won the game, which is good, and so we'll see how we fare as we get into the evening. I've eaten about twice what I usually eat in a day, not unusual after a supermarket run, so we'll naturally brew up something impossible up for dinner, stop this weight loss.

You're babbling.

The mood is good for a change.

Evening. Watched some of the Golden Globes. An awful lot of recognizable actors in the audience. Why should that be surprising? Maybe because I haven't looked at one in years?

The photograph was taken at the 2010 Mochi Ceremony at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum with a Nikon D3s mounted with an 70 - 200mm f 2.8 Nikkor VR II lens.
