At Ten

Saturday To sleep early last night driven by the disoriented fuzzy headed thing and so awoke at five, blinked, and found it was six forty-five with the alarm sounding for the first time in the long time. OK, it had been raining last night, wasn't sure if it wasn't going to start raining again and so drove to breakfast to arrive, enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at the back with the papers. Rain or no, at least the head seems clear and our day has started.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, still less than a pound over the one-fifty target on the scale this morning, finishing up to head for the car under a light rain. Best that I'd driven.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby, the Christmas stickers having been removed yesterday from the mirror and surrounding area, before heading up to settle in at the computer. No need to turn on the heat as rain tends to keep the temperature reasonably warm and so futzed with yesterday's entry before posting and processing this morning's pictures before starting here. The attitude is good after last night, the head seems reasonably clear, maybe we'll finish tying up some things I've been putting off since last year.

Later. Still an intermittent light rain, but a walk up the way to take a look at the apartment house/condominium construction site to see if they've made any progress in these last weeks. Haven't really noticed any activity, but took the usual set of three pictures plus one. Otherwise more time on the tablet.

Evening. Nothing on television I wanted to watch and so to bed early to finish the last episode of Equinox, a Danish series I'd managed to watch all the way through, wondering why I was sticking with it with every new frustrating episode and finally turning the lights out right at ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Pistahan Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
