Again
Sunday To sleep at a reasonable hour to awaken at six-fifteen and listen to the last half of CounterSpin followed by TUC Radio, the TUC Radio interview on the economy particularly interesting. Up to drive to the Lakeshore ATM and then back over the hill to breakfast under cloud covered skies (they're saying it's going to start raining later around ten), doing the usual enter the dining area, turn on the lights and settle in with the papers routine.
The oatmeal, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up after nine to walk to the car, take the usual pictures and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer and starting on this.
Later. Watched a bit of Norma on PBS, an opera I'm familiar with, although I don't have a recording of it in my collection, followed by an excellent piece on Maria Callas before watching the Bills-Chiefs game that started sometime after three-thirty. I found myself switching between the end of Callas and the beginning of the football game there at the end. So has gone the afternoon. Some rain that began in the mid-afternoon rather than the forecast late morning start. They're still saying it should be dry for walking to breakfast tomorrow.
Evening. I watched an episode of FBI that followed the game at seven-thirty, a series I've never seen before. Bailed before it was over and went to bed. Maybe don't need to see another episode of FBI again.
