Followed

Monday Lights out at ten to take what I thought was a couple of hours of get to sleep to then awaken at not long after six and listen to Democracy How! before getting up and walking to breakfast under clear skies, arriving at the usual time to head into the back of the dining area and settle in with the papers. The owner mentioned they would be opening the outdoor dining area again tomorrow. Hadn't heard that on the news, but bad timing for the rain that's forecast to start in the morning.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight still holding on the scale this morning, finishing up a little early to set out for home, the sun now quite bright and the temperature feeling comfortably warm.

A picture of the Grand Lake theater marquee, just because, and one to note the appearance of a group of Link scooters that had been placed in a line along the sidewalk while I was at breakfast before taking the selfie in the lobby and then settling down at the computer to start with this mess. Pretty good energy for whatever sleep I might have gotten last night, the attitude good.

Later. Figured out how to transfer the funds online from the EIC card to the bank account. Good. That's done.

Lied down on the bed for a nap. Awoke three hours later feeling better. Three hours. A slow, but pleasant enough afternoon spent catching up on the sleep.

Evening. Nothing on television and so to bed to watch a series on the tablet thinking after all the sleep this afternoon I wouldn't turn the lights out until ten and even then probably wouldn't drop right off. Lights out at ten and my lights soon followed.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
