Bed
Saturday. To sleep reasonably soon last night. If there were any fireworks around midnight I was long gone by then, awakening for good after six on a cold thirty-eight degree morning. (That's cold for us Californians.) Up to check the blood pressure, decide it wasn't high enough to take the blood pressure med yet and so back to bed to listen to the news until seven to get up again and drive to breakfast, park in front of the restaurant and enter the indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing by nine to walk to the car and drive home, take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure (about the same) before settling in at the computer and finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning pictures and start here by eleven-thirty.
Later. A little light headed around one and so to bed to lie down and take a nap, awakening after three. So much for getting enough sleep last night. The “light headed” business reminded me of the edges of an ocular migraine incident and wondered if this morning's two strips of bacon (cured meats are to be avoided) might have brought it on. I seem to recall other mornings after having had bacon for breakfast (the reason I have two strips rather than the usual serving of four) and wondered if it's had this particular effect in the past.
Otherwise more time on the tablet watching Stay Close, a better Netflix series than some, complicated in keeping track of all the characters (and bodies) at the beginning, but interestingly resolving all your questions at the end. Another day's afternoon, in other words.
Evening. Watched the rest of Stay Close on the tablet, finishing up by nine-thirty. Checked out Girl With The Gold Earring after on PBS, thinking I was already up too late, pushing the edge, but ended up watching but fifteen minutes of it before quitting and heading to bed.
