Ten

Wednesday. To sleep before eleven if I'm remembering it right to awaken then with the alarm at six-thirty and so a decent night's sleep I would think. Up to take the blood pressure, find it OK and so back to bed to listen to the rest of Democracy Now! before getting up and driving to the gas station to fill the tank, park across the street from the station by the 7-11 store and enter the restaurant's indoor dining area to turn on the lights and settle down at my table with the papers.

I'd rationalized driving thinking I needed to get home by nine-thirty as a technician was coming by to take samples from the balcony in preparation for the construction to come at the end of February and driving would guarantee I'd make it back in time. Of course walking almost always got me back by nine-thirty too, so I guess I wanted to drive.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to walk to the car and drive straight home to take the selfie, running into the apartment house manager and the technician in the lobby and so went through my morning routine as best I was able as the technician took samples for whatever reason and ended up starting here by ten forty-five.

Took the blood pressure when I first got home to find it higher than I'd have liked, but not high enough to take the blood pressure med. Usually take it around noon and then a second dose later around four. Took it for the third time at ten-thirty to find it higher than I'd have liked again, but then took a measurement on the older Lazle meter to find it as I usually do about ten points lower. Better. Maybe this Omron meter isn't as accurate as the Lazle and maybe half this fretting over the blood pressure is caused by the meter and not the blood pressure at all.

Later. Talked with the apartment house owner about the move, when and how he'll send the money required. Seems we're on the same page so another step forward in making it happen.

Otherwise more time on the tablet, finishing a ten one hour per episode series that I've been wading through for some time, snapped another out of focus picture of a pigeon who'd landed on the balcony netting and thus ended another cookie cutter afternoon.

Evening. I'd seen the Midsomer Murders episode this evening at eight, didn't bother to confirm the fact by turning it on to check and so lights out after nine, to sleep though well after ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
