Later
Wednesday. To sleep at a decent time to awaken just after six to get up and take the blood pressure (looked good) and listen to the rest of Democracy Now! before getting up at seven to walk to breakfast under a low lying fog, arriving to enter the restaurant's indoor dining area, turn on the lights and settle in at my table with the papers.
The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to set out for home under still overcast skies, but thin enough so that the sun was shining through. So far, so good. Arrived home, took the selfie in the lobby and received the unmistakable message as I entered the apartment: “get to the bathroom to avoid disaster my friend”. My friend and I avoided disaster.
Took the blood pressure again to find it lower than it was this morning, settled in at the computer to finish yesterday's sloppy entry, post, process the morning's pictures and start here by eleven.
Later. Hmm. Added this the next morning, had nothing to say yesterday in the afternoon. I guess. Spent time watching Murder Call, a Prime Australian series on the tablet. At least the episodes are reasonably short and the bad guy(s) in this series are caught by the end of each episode by the woman detective. Her male companion isn't all that clever I'm afraid. Seems to keep my interest.
The usual check out the news programs at noon and two. A first dose of the blood pressure med at noon as the unusually low earlier morning readings had climbed too high by then. The overall numbers seem to be better lately, certainly better than they were some months ago, but I have no idea what's really happening.
Evening. The second dose of the blood pressure med at seven-thirty and then back to bed. Lights out two hours later.
