Background Dialogue
Monday. A “young Inspector (yet to make sergeant) Morse” last night, so to bed well after ten. These things happen. Up this overcast morning with much to accomplish before the day is done, so on with guitar, pictures and naps. Things are due to arrive through UPS. The way to kick a week off with an exciting start, don't you think, the wind just whipping by, oh my?

Stop. We get the drift.

Indeed.

Later. Noon. Done with the J-Pop pix. Time for the guitar.

Later still. A walk to the ATM over on Lakeshore and then around by the theater to have lunch at the morning restaurant. No thought to take the shorter route on Mandana over the hill. There appear to be effects from all the running around over the weekend.

A grilled cheese sandwich, ice cream and lemonade out at a table, a walk then back to the apartment. I looked over the pictures after I'd posted them to artandlife and worried over both their brightness and the color, going back to rework two or three to see if I couldn't make a difference. Maybe yes, maybe no. It was overcast, but I suspect I'm missing something more that could be done. We'll see. Time now to practice before tomorrow's lesson.

Evening. Nothing on at six so I continued to watch Democracy Now and their interviews on the Bradley Manning trial and the current Snowden NSA situation. Maybe not good for my blood pressure, but good background dialogue when practicing a Rolling Stones song. Diddle-dee-dong.

The photo up top was taken at the San Francisco J-Pop Summit Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
