Problem

Wednesday. Lights out at a decent hour to awaken at five-thirty. Ah, well. Up to walk to breakfast, the sky overcast, but sun on the way. Some watering eyes and runny nose, but manageable. I haven't noticed others having this problem as I've passed them on these mornings. Maybe wonder out loud about that at my next physical. The restaurant open when I arrived and so settled in with all three papers, the Chronicle making it this morning.

The single pork chop, eggs over medium, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up with the papers by eight-thirty, the sun bright walking home, the long lens again on the camera. Probably best to keep it that way.

A somewhat out of focus selfie in the lobby and now up to finish this and figure out what I need to pack and such for this evening and the train. Not feeling all that jumpy about it, so good. Once you're committed, best not to fight it. He said, but I am curious as to how I manage over these next nine or ten days.

Later. Packed two bags after deciding to leave the laptop, taking two cameras without extra lenses. Decided to skip taking a cab, but take the bus instead. The bus at the bottom of my street goes to the train station and so I'll make sure to give myself plenty of time if a particular bus doesn't come. They don't now and again.

Without the laptop we'll not be posting while I'm gone. Maybe good to take a vacation from the babble, if not the photographs.

You're feeling jumpy and babbling.

I know. That's the problem.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 San Francisco LGBT Gay Pride Parade with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
