Task

Sunday. Awoke at five minutes after six having slept with the fan running at the foot of the bed. Warm. Warmer again today, I'm guessing. Got up and got ready to drive to breakfast only to find the car battery had finally died and needed recharging. OK. Out the door to walk to breakfast under clear skies, arriving later than usual (can't be sure exactly with the watch battery dead), but the restaurant still dark, the dining area door open and so inside to turn on the lights and start on the papers.

The two strips of bacon, eggs over medium, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, not all that many people arriving to have breakfast, for some reason, and finishing up after nine to walk home this Sunday instead of driving, feeling less clear and more tired than I had yesterday. Let's hope it's that's just my getting to sleep well after ten.

Under a bright sun on the way home, the usual selfie in the lobby before settling in to finish and post yesterday's entry. Go to Art & Soul later? I attended last year, maybe give it a try? Watch golf instead? Start my clean up the clutter in the apartment project I've been putting off forever, but has come out of the background on the trip to the family party? Have I said this before? More than once?

Later. OK, have the St. Jude Invitational Golf tournament on television, but did manage to clear some clutter around the apartment and started re-charging the car battery. A little more progress with the apartment and I can say, for the first time in any time I can remember, I've made progress. This is good. Really.

Evening. Watched Beck – The Invasion at six, one I'd seen before, but didn't remember much other than individual scenes as they appeared. Checked the progress on the car battery. It's charging, but will need another twenty-four hours before it's finished. An introduction to the problems associated with the time required to charge an electric car battery, perhaps. Not a ten minute task.

The photo up top was taken at the family party a week ago last Saturday with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
