By Ten

Saturday. To sleep after ten, but before eleven, to awaken at five-fifty and listen to the usual Saturday morning news before getting up and driving to breakfast, the head fine, not tired, parking by the 7-11 store and walking across to the restaurant, noting the gas station had increased the price of regular by four cents a gallon before entering the indoor dining area and settling in with the papers.

Three other groups of diners entered this time before I'd finished and although I was feeling fine, that had been true at yesterday's breakfast. Would an extreme feeling of fatigue arrive as it had yesterday after I'd gotten home and was I therefor putting people at risk? I'd taken my temperature (normal) before leaving, but still.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to set out for the car and drive straight home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer, but not before visiting the bathroom, the need not really arriving until I'd arrived home, but telling me to hurry. No similar signals when leaving the restaurant so maybe it was best I hadn't walked.

Later. OK, none of yesterday's tiredness has shown its face so maybe we just had an odd day that hopefully won't repeat itself anytime soon. The afternoon has gone as they usually do watching stuff on the tablet. “Stuff” is my neutral term for it was watchable, but just, and I'm embarrassed to admit what it was.

Evening. Watched the first half hour of Wargames at eight on PBS, realized I'd seen it before, figured to hell with it and so went to bed before nine to spend half an hour on the tablet before, turning the lights out by ten.

The photo up top was taken at the 2016 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
