Usual

Saturday. Awake too early at a quarter to six to futz around for a while before taking the blood pressure, the reading down in the nineties over sixties and so skipped the blood pressure med this morning. OK. Off to breakfast setting out a little too early and so crossed over to the lake to take a picture before walking on, eating up time so I could arrive when the restaurant was open. And it was when I arrived.

Ordered the plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee breakfast. One-fifty on the scale this morning, but that's what appealed. Read the papers, finished early and so headed back home, the sun bright and the temperature climbing. They're saying into the eighties here today.

Passed by the vandalized bike and took another picture. Bike owners who've had their bikes vandalized when they left them overnight, and there have been a lot of them at this very spot in the past, seem to abandon the bike for a number of days before picking them up. Are they totally worthless when they've lost a wheel? Too expensive to fix?

Another flower picture and then another of a line of Lime scooters by the lake. You see people using them all throughout the area and this group will be gone in another half hour. A real change in sidewalk culture as they're now all over the place.

Do they upset you?

No, they'll work out the collisions on the sidewalk and such. If I were younger and clearer headed I'd be using them myself.

The blood pressure was normal, taking it after the walk home, but then dropped to the nineties over the sixties when I'd had a chance to sit here at the computer for a while. No need to take another pill.

A support immigrant families affair running nearby on the lake starting at ten-thirty and I will go over to see if it produces any pictures. The blood pressure now clocking at 108/70, what it usually runs on the medication. Be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Later. Haven't stepped a foot outside sitting here watching golf and not much else. The blood pressure is holding in the 110/70 range and so, I suspect, we'll probably just start up again on the blood pressure med tomorrow in the morning and see how it goes from there. Maybe start taking them in the evenings, let the pressure be too low, if it's to be too low, while I'm sleeping.

Evening. A couple of readings through the evening, 119/72 and 118/77, a few points above what I've been running when the meds have been working and so decided to not take the blood pressure med before bed, take it in the morning if the pressure is running higher. Curled up with the tablet for a while and then lights out earlier than usual.
