Of It

Sunday. Awoke just before six. Good. Up to drive to breakfast on another overcast morning, the weather people again saying close to a high of seventy later and higher through the next nine days. This is good. Arrived at the restaurant at seven minutes to seven, the dining area dark and so entered, turned on the lights and settled in to go through three bulky Sunday papers.

Ordered the avocado omelet again, emphasizing avocado only, no cheese, but it arrived with cheese. OK. Life will not end. Went over the issue (nicely) with the waitress to make sure this doesn't happen again before settling in to the avocado and now cheese omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast.

Plenty to read and so didn't manage to finish until well after nine, heading out the door to the car to drive home, skipping going by the supermarket again. Don't really need anything there and visits tend to end up in buying stuff I probably shouldn't eat, but the impetus was more I didn't want to go through the hassle than anything else.

Later. Started watching the U.S. Women's LPGA Open Championship before setting out for the Lakeshore ATM, figuring I needed a decent walk after driving to breakfast. And it was, feeling tired the somewhat light headed by the time I returned walking by the lake. Ran into Mr. S. who'd been cycling the lake and had spotted me dragging ass (maybe not quite that bad, but closer than I like to admit) and took a picture, sat for a while on the bench toying with the camera sitting on my lap and shooting in live view mode. Back to the apartment to watch the rest of the LPGA tournament.

Evening. Nothing on television and so lights out and radio off at nine twenty-eight, this time, noting the time on the clock. Whatever's happening to the memory, it isn't to the point I can't remember such things the morning after. If I make a note of it.

The photo up top was taken one year ago at the 2018 Oakland Sex Workers Protest with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
