Problem

Friday. Right to sleep last night to awaken at a quarter to six, feeling better. Not sure where that tiredness came from last night, but it lent itself to a decent night's sleep. I think. We'll know later.

Overcast, this morning, they're saying warmer over the weekend. Arrived at the restaurant at the usual just before seven, the restaurant open and the day underway.

Ordered the Eggs Benedict, country potatoes, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast and went through the papers with some interest, finishing up by eight-thirty or so and setting out for home, taking pictures of the usual flowers and of a section they'd cut out of the ivy along the way. They've been working on trimming the ivy and marking out sections in white, this one plus a second not far beyond it cut out yesterday as I'd passed it by. Not sure what they're planning on putting in its place.

Home to download the pictures, look at what little I'd down with yesterday's entry, patch it up and post it by about ten. The head reasonably clear, still a bit tired, but I guess that's the norm anymore. Nothing on the schedule, although getting in at least a short walk needs an excuse. Need to invent something simple, but effective to get it done.

Lunch downtown?

An option. Have to see what the stomach as to say after this morning's breakfast starts to fade.

Later. A bus to the Broadway ATM and then a walk back home, stopping by the apartment house construction sites at 23rd, Webster and Valdez to take the usual three pictures to find the black covering had been removed from the back unit of the 2330 Webster Street project that fronts on 23rd and Valdez. Worth a picture for a change.

Picked up a pint of strawberry ice cream at the 7-11 look-alike on the way home and had it for lunch. Seemed right after a decent walk and it's been a while since I've had an urge for ice cream. Rationalizations enough.

Felt tired just as I did later after yesterday's walk, but this time went to lie down on the bed not long after three to then fall asleep for well over an hour. Actual sleep. Up after two hours on the bed, feeling better. Maybe should have done that at three in the afternoon yesterday and not put it off until much later at seven or eight when I really hit the wall.

Evening. The television station that runs all the foreign offerings I like to complain about (and have found a few I like) is back to not running them again, even though they continue to be on their schedule or so I discovered when checking at seven. Went back to watching a Netflix Belgian cyber crime detective series on the tablet (cyber crime series?), finishing up before nine. Tired enough to turn the lights out not long after, no though I might have any trouble dropping off. Not sure this is good, but won't argue with falling off to sleep without a problem.

The photo up top was taken Monday on Alcatraz island with a Nikon D500 mounted with a 24-120mm f 4.0 VR Nikkor lens.
