Nine

Tuesday. To sleep not long after ten to awaken then at a quarter to six. Not bad. Took the blood pressure, 115/64, inline with recent morning readings, listened to Democracy Now! and set out walking to breakfast at the usual time under clear skies to arrive and sit at my table, the indoor dining area now allowed to fill with diners instead of at every other table.

Still, only a couple other diners arrived and more than half of the people I passed on the way were wearing masks. Oh, and the paper guy had left two copies of the East Bay Times, but not the Chronicle this morning. Not sure how he did that as the plastic bags they come in are of very different colors.

The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up to visit their bathroom before leaving (good that I did that), taking the usual string of pictures as I was walking. Just a t-shirt, long sleeved shirt and summer rather than winter jacket as they're forecasting temperatures in the high seventies later today and into the eighties by Thursday.

Arrived to take the selfie feeling every bit as tired as I did yesterday, tired and dizzy and so took the blood pressure, remembering past episodes when it got out of whack: 82/54 at nine-thirty, 82/56 at ten. Oh. We'll have to do something about this.

Later. The blood pressure finally up again at five (121/58). Still feel tired, but not dizzy. The temperature hit seventy-seven at four and I spent the afternoon in a t-shirt lying on the bed watching this and that on the tablet in between blood pressure readings. Ah, well. At least we're alive and breathing.

Evening. Still into the seventies at eight in the evening. Watched the news, watched NCIS on CBS that started at eight, more because I didn't want to go to bed before nine. Still quite comfortable well into this evening in a t-shirt, making me wonder what we're in store for in the way of temperatures through the end of this week. The blood pressure 114/64 just after nine.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 Carnaval Street Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
