Indeed

Thursday. To sleep, I'm guessing, around the usual time after ten last night, awakening just before six to take the blood pressure (109/59), listen to Democracy Now! at six and set out walking to breakfast under a bright sun, the weather people saying up into the mid-eighties later, much higher farther inland. Skipped the blood pressure med again, this morning's reading virtually identical to yesterday morning's. Need to get this figured out.

Arrived at the restaurant at the usual time to settle in at my indoor table and start on the papers, having scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee this time and finishing up again around nine to visit the bathroom (this MiraLAX stuff they have me on seems to have gotten me on close to a daily schedule) before setting out for home.

I'd worn a long sleeved shirt under a light summer jacket, but could have worn just the t-shirt and jacket given the temperature while walking home and so we'll try just the t-shirt tomorrow. It's not supposed to be as hot as it's going to be today, but closer than anyone would like.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer, finish and post yesterday's entry and start on the pictures. Another blood pressure reading: 113/68, very similar to yesterday's reading at this time in the morning although the head does seem clearer.

Later. Started watching Katla, an Icelandic series about a volcano that seems to pony up ash encrusted people long thought missing and dead. Interesting images of an erupting volcano in my maternal grandparents’ homeland. Not sure how they'll end up explaining these reincarnated and in one case duplicated characters wandering out of their volcano in the story line, but so far, so good.

Otherwise many blood pressure readings to follow that seem to be mirroring the readings I took yesterday, watching/listening to the various news programs and putting off writing here until tomorrow morning, so I guess that means the head remains less than clear. Nothing new in that.

You're drifting.

Into my late seventies.

Evening. Eighty-six degrees earlier this late afternoon, still well into the seventies. Sit in front of the fan weather indeed.

The photo up top was taken at the 2013 Carnaval Street Festival with a Nikon D4 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
