Month
Wednesday. An uneven night's sleep to awaken at six-thirty and listen to the last half of Democracy Now! before getting up feeling tired and walk under overcast skies to breakfast, the tiredness easing up by the time I'd arrived, settling down at my inside table and starting on the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine to set out for home, the sky still overcast, the temperature fine, the earlier tiredness while walking in now gone and feeling pretty good as I was taking the usual set of pictures. Most of the people I passed both walking to and from breakfast were not wearing masks. Not a problem when out on the sidewalk, but I'm going to continue wearing mine. Until I don't.
Home to take the selfie in the lobby and sit down at the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the morning pictures and start here, the time now just after the noon hour.
Later. Overcast through the afternoon. Didn't walk up the way to take pictures at the construction site, but there's always tomorrow. Not tired, really, but spent most of the day watching a series on the tablet with breaks for the television news.
Evening. A Midsomer Murders repeat episode at eight. I half remembered seeing it, its plot more off the wall than I'd liked although, of course, I didn't remember who'd done it. Quit after five or ten minutes and went to bed to finish an episode of a series on the tablet that's getting a little wearing, lights out again at ten. Not a bad day, this last day of the month.
