Lesson Tomorrow
Thursday. Up with the alarm after getting to bed before ten, off to breakfast and back on a bright thoroughly sunny morning. Looks good, but after a nap.
Later. An hour or so lying down, some sleep in there somewhere, up to futz around on the computer and then head over to the lake for a short walk deciding to sit on a bench by the lake in the sun. Hmm. Sitting by a lake in the sun, where have I heard that before? Next we'll be sitting and dozing, dreaming fitful dreams.
Let us sound a little more upbeat here.
True. Couldn't talk myself into getting a sandwich at the local drive-in to take home for lunch, not sure why, as I was hungry, again the day really nice in shirt sleeves, felt about right. The sinuses acting up, but without too much of the disoriented feeling, so we're good with that.
And?
And we're still skating along the edge of a funk. I may just drive next week, put myself down somewhere I haven't been before and take pictures or, if not pictures, find a place where I can talk myself into having lunch without an argument. Not in Oakland, not in San Francisco, but where? What? Who? How? now brown cow?
Later still. A bus came as I was debating whether or not to go downtown, so I got on the bus and went downtown. So far, so good. A bagel with cream cheese and coffee at the City Center bagel shop, sitting out in the sun at one of their tables, the head clear, the sinuses behaving. Nice. Believe me: nice.
A walk then back to the apartment adding the third supporting leg in a proper lunch - an ice cream cone - at the local 7-11 look-alike, feeling the sinuses beginning to ramp up. Cleared the nose when I got inside the apartment and that seemed to straighten it out, so I suspect all this crap really has something to do with sinuses, which is good, better than some other maladies I can imagine. We'll talk to the one or two people I know with sinus issues, see if the symptoms are similar. Tomorrow, of course. Or the weekend.
Evening. Some television, some guitar, some sinuses. Odd day, odd week. Probably an odd month, but I no longer remember any further back. To bed early, the guitar lesson tomorrow.
