Tuesday. An uneven night's rest from what I can remember of it, but still, lights out just after ten to awaken finally at six-fifteen to get up on another sunny, going to be hotter than hell day and drive to breakfast. I thought of walking, thought of just wearing a t-shirt under the light summer jacket, but essentially crapped out and drove thinking I was tired and didn't want to walk. Hmm.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee as we're still fighting to keep the weight under control. Doing alright, but not something you can forget about as it will creep up on you. Jump up on you. Finished up by nine-thirty, three other diners arriving before I was finished making me skip through the East Bay Times more quickly than I might otherwise. Drove straight home, took the selfie in the lobby and finished up yesterday's entry before posting. Now we're settled it with this, not overly tired, but then not really not tired either and so we'll see how the rest of this morning goes.

Later. Had some Raisin Bran with milk and almost immediately headed to the bedroom to lie down feeling symptoms similar to the ocular migraine issues. I've had this happen after eating cereal before, but figured I'd order the Raisin Bran from Safeway as part of the delivery anyway, conveniently forgetting this fact. I'm still not 100% convinced cereal is the culprit, but seeing/experiencing this is believing I guess.

Felt better later in the afternoon, but more napping than not with the fan at the foot of the bed, the temperature reaching eighty-six degrees. Wouldn't want to have want my (now quite old) fan fail in this heat. Otherwise half listened to the news, there was nothing much I wanted to watch on the tablet and so spent too much time in Facebook. Again. Spent too much time in Facebook might make an epitaph for this shelter-in-place disaster adventure. Let's just hope it doesn't go on for years.

Evening. Watched another episode of Last Tango In Halifax where it got right back into upsets between the various characters. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm wondering why I seem so sensitive to it. To bed then afterward at nine to essentially listen to the news on the radio and avoid the tablet, the fan allowing sleep to come after ten while under a sheet with a light cover.

The photo up top was taken at the forming up of the 2016 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in San Francisco with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
