Silly

Friday. To sleep soon enough to awaken then just before six, the left side sinuses and back teeth aching quite a bit as I'd slept on my left side putting pressure throughout the night on that area. More so than most mornings, so ended up taking a pain med. It goes away once the pressure is released, but it takes time and this morning I figured I'd get some psychological release if not making it go away any quicker.

OK, up to walk to breakfast under another clear skies and bright sun morning, arriving as they were setting up the patio with tables and chairs and so entered the indoor dining area, turned on the lights and settled in with the papers. I believe we've heard this story before.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee for breakfast, finishing up as usual around nine to set out for home under now a warmer bright sun, taking pictures as I always take pictures. Felt clear headed, the painful sinuses long gone, the energy good. No complaints.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and settle in at the computer to start on the morning's pictures and finish yesterday's anemic entry, posting it and starting here.

Later. Another afternoon where I've felt “clear headed”, but spent it on the tablet and checking out the various news programs that run at noon, at two and at three. Doesn't seem to matter that they cover the same stories, causing me to space out and turn them off before they finish. Be nice to have this pandemic wind itself up, but I'm guessing we're in this for longer than we want to know. I did take one picture.

Evening. Watched the first ten minutes or so of Inspector Morse. I'd seen it before, of course, didn't need to see it again and so to bed. Sound familiar?

You're just adding this afternoon and evening stuff the next morning so you have something for filler.

I know. Seems silly.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
