Sleep

Monday. To sleep soon enough to awaken at five forty-five, maybe a little earlier to qualify, I'm guessing, as a decent night's rest. Up to walk to breakfast under mostly clear and sunny skies to arrive as they were setting up the patio tables and so settled in at my usual place inside to start on the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up just after nine, not many other diners either inside or outside which is not uncommon on a Monday. Off home to snap the usual series of pictures, the sun still bright, the weather people saying a high later of seventy degrees.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby before settling in at the computer to start on this.

Later. Listened to the news, attempted a nap, received an order from Amazon, finished a task in the bedroom and that's been about it.

Evening. To bed early and lights out not all that long after nine, still awake at ten and so listened to the NPR six minute news before getting to sleep.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 How Weird Street Faire with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 24-70mm f 2.8 G Nikkor lens.
