Arrive

Tuesday To sleep at a decent hour to awaken at six on a cold under clear skies morning, up to walk to breakfast having added a goose down padded jacket between the sweater and the winter jacket. Still cold, but bearable, sitting at my table on the restaurant patio.

The single pork chop, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, the weight just one pound over the one-fifty target, finishing up well after nine to walk home under a now warmer sun. All of the smaller dressed in costume dog pictures had been taken down outside the veterinarian's office, the larger dog pictures still in place. Wondered if they were torn down/stolen or if the vets office had removed them. Probably not the vets.

A photo of a piece of graffiti that had appeared overnight, up to the apartment to take the selfie in the lobby and then start on the pictures, posting yesterdays entry and starting today's work of wonder, heading downstairs to start the laundry in the middle of these tasks so it would finish at about the same time as I would here. Took a little longer for the laundry.

Later. With the laundry folded and hung, the socks in their bin, I laid down on the bed and watched an Italian series on the tablet. Held my interest well enough that I missed the first half of the PBS Newshour at three thinking I'd watch the beginning of it later at six.

Evening. Didn't watch the beginning of the Newshour. Nothing later on television I wanted to watch, Tuesdays aren't the best for television in the evenings, and so to bed early again, lights out by ten, to sleep whenever sleep decides to arrive.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
