Again

Wednesday Lights out and to sleep at the usual time, but awakening at two to take maybe an hour of being half asleep before dropping off again and awakening at a quarter to six. Enough sleep, I guess and so up to walk to breakfast dressed as I was yesterday for the cold, this time under overcast skies which made the temperature I'm guessing not quite as low as it had been yesterday. Relatively comfortable, in other words, sitting at my table on the restaurant patio, but one other customer arriving later before I'd finished an hour and a half later. Still lots of people coming by for pickups.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee this time to finish up after nine and walk home under still cloudy skies, adjusting for the light as I took the usual pictures of flowers along the way. The turned over trash cans were cleaned up yesterday and the graffiti face on the plywood windows near my apartment was gone along with the plywood. Home to take the selfie and settle in at the computer.

Later. More time on the tablet finishing up the first season of Suburra: Blood On Rome, crooks, politicians, real estate developers, the church and everyone else doing over the top bad things that's caught my interest for ten one hour episodes. Half listened to the ongoing election mess and coronavirus resurgence on the news, depressing though it may be, and so has the afternoon gone. When's the last time I stuck my nose outside and photographed whatever progress they've made on the construction site up my street?

Evening. Checked out Midsomer Murders at eight for a while, but was unable to generate any real interest in it and so to bed to spend more time on the tablet. Seems there's a Suburra Season Two I wasn't expecting (turns out there's a season three and four in looking it up) and so started the first episode, finally turning it and the lights off just after ten. Again.

The photo up top was taken at the 2018 San Francisco Anime & Cosplay Festival with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
