Blame

Monday Lights out not long after ten, but a very uneven night's sleep, the clock creeping along and groggy, I wondering why I couldn't seem to get to sleep after a long feeling “tired” day. Awoke for good just before six to turn on Democracy Now!, getting up at the usual time not feeling particularly tired (a little surprised about that after the long night) and set out walking to breakfast to settle in at my table and start on the papers.

The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee again more because that's what appealed than keeping a watch on the weight (the weight's holding fine), finishing up not long after nine without any other diners appearing during the entire time. Less virus worries when you're the only one eating.

OK set out as usual along Grand thinking did I want to turn at the Grand Lake theater and walk to the Lakeshore ATM? Yesterday I'd felt too tired, but walking this morning I was feeling just fine and so turned at the theater and walked to the ATM. Weird, but nice to have it turn out to be so easy. We're not dead yet.

Home to take the selfie in the lobby and head up to the computer to start on all this. We now have things to take care of in addition to the car, be interesting to see how much of it gets done.

Later. The Air Index is Good and it's not all that cold outside, but no thought to go anywhere or do anything other than listen to the news and watch more stuff on the tablet. Still need to deal with the car and clean up some of my web sites as I've been getting rid of some of them by letting them expire.

Evening. Checked out one or two things on television (for all of one or two minutes each), spent more time on the tablet, to bed before ten. Lights out at ten to rack up another day when very little got done. No complaints, I know who's to blame.

The photo up top was taken at the 2017 Oakland Chinatown StreetFest with a Nikon D5 mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens..
