Bed
Friday Awoke just before five, not the best of plans when you're looking to get enough hours of sleep, but then a half asleep period that lasted until after six to half listen to Democracy Now! before getting up to walk to breakfast under a clear and cold sky, taking a couple of pictures of the empty parking slots and sidewalk as I approached the restaurant. So far, so good. Sat out at my table to start on the papers, only two other diners having shown up by the time I was ready to leave.
The avocado and mushroom omelet, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up by nine to walk home under the bright sun, not really taking the time to take proper photographs on the way. Not that I'm particularly careful in the best of days. Still, the Friday after Thanksgiving, passing but few people on the sidewalk and not much traffic on the streets. So far, so good, pictures or not.
The selfie in the lobby, up to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the pictures and start here before lying down for a bit.
Later. About an hour's nap which brought back some semblance of consciousness. They say the body's natural rhythm, if work and such don't get in the way, is to take an hour or so's nap in the afternoons and this seems to be true at least for me. So no complaints.
A bath after the nap then listening to the news before hunkering down again with the tablet.
Evening. Watched Inspector Morse for maybe ten minutes at eight before throwing it all in and heading for bed.
