Whom

Monday. Stayed up watching a Netflix series on the tablet last night, turning the lights out at close to ten, but seem to have gotten to sleep not all that long thereafter, awakening at five to zone in and out and finally awaken for good at six. Seems to have been enough sleep as I haven't yet felt all that tired.

Up to take the blood pressure which was well within bounds, up for good after Democracy Now! to drive to breakfast. It wasn't raining, but the weather people were forecasting rain this morning and so that was my rationalization to drive. Parked by the 7-11 store, crossed Grand and entered the restaurant to settle inside at my table and start on the papers.

The two strips of bacon, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, toast, fruit cup and coffee again, finishing up after nine to cross Grand on the way to the car passing whatever this is on the sidewalk. Something discarded last night on Halloween? You can't see it in the picture, but the black and white feathers (or whatever they are) were rippling magically in the light breeze and so I took the picture.

Straight home to take the selfie in the lobby, take the blood pressure (looks just fine) and settle in at the computer to finish yesterday's entry, post, process the morning photographs and start here. Opened the drapes to check the street to find it was raining and so the weather people were right about the rain.

Later. Watched portions of the usual news programs, but mostly continued watching Stranger, the Netflix Korean series that's been absorbing my attention these last days. Sixteen one hour episodes and, although I've found it hard to follow exactly what's going on (hard to follow exactly who they're referring to when mention Korean character's names), I've been watching it with interest as the hour long episodes seem to be flying right along.

Evening. Gave up in the middle of the last episode of Stranger when it began to approach ten and so lights out, we'll finish the second season of this thing tomorrow. Getting to sleep at a decent hour is more important than finally finding out who's been doing these evil things to whom.

The photo up top was taken at the 2015 Folsom Street Fair with a Nikon D4s mounted with a 70-200mm f 2.8 VR II Nikkor lens.
