Bed
Wednesday. To sleep soon enough, at least I thought I had, to awaken at a quarter to six, take the blood pressure (117/66, 115/67, 124/68) and listen to Democracy Now! before getting up and walking to breakfast under clear dark skies to arrive at the restaurant and settle in at my table with the papers.
The plain waffle with sliced bananas and strawberries, fruit cup and coffee, finishing up before nine to walk home under a bright sun, taking the same funky pictures of the usual set of flowers plus of a lone bicycle rider stopped at the 580 Overpass light. Seemed reasonably clear headed wondering if I might end up running for the bathroom when I got home.
Took the selfie in the now Halloween sticker clear mirror in the lobby, went to the bathroom (without hurry), took the blood pressure (118/71, 117/66, 111/55) and settled in at the computer to finish and post yesterday's entry, process the morning pictures and put off starting here until after I'd taken an hour's nap. So much for getting enough sleep last night.
Later. Listened to and watched the various news programs and their analyses of the election yesterday. Took the blood pressure med at three. We'll see how the numbers look after a week of taking it at three in the afternoon. The cardiologist said keeping it under one-forty on top is success. So far, so good, when I took a reading at five-thirty.
Evening. Watched the first half of Midsomer Murders, one I'd seen before, but didn't remember how it turned out. Half was enough and so to bed.
